The Program Manager at JANUS Research Group is responsible for overseeing and managing all support and engineering work related to the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR). This role involves acting as the primary liaison with the government, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and supervising contractor personnel. The Program Manager will manage resources effectively to ensure timely and successful project completion while maintaining a focus on national security interests through data collection, analysis, and technical services.

  • Organizes, plans, schedules, and controls all support and engineering work.
  • Acts as a responsible company official with authority to obligate the company regarding contractual and financial matters.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with the Government, maintaining a technical and administrative grasp of all contractual requirements.
  • Supervises all Contractor personnel engaged on this contract and is responsible for day-to-day operations including cost control, planning, reporting, and project schedules.
  • Manages all resources to implement work requirements to their timely and successful completion.
  • US Citizens who possess a Top Secret level clearance IAW DOD regulations.
  • A valid bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; advanced degrees preferable.
  • Ten (10) years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on contracts or projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope.
  • Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, engineers, support staff, and contract administrative personnel.
  • Two (2) years of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD contracting process.
  • Two (2) years of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD acquisition process specifically related to the test career field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with documented supervisory experience.
  • Experience in civil, mechanical, computer, electrical, and electronics engineering disciplines.
