There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Full Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Program Manager for our West Side Children's Counseling program located in Jersey City, NJ. The West Side Children's Counseling Center (WSCC) provides child, adolescent, and young adult mental health counseling services and family therapy. The program offers various modalities of counseling, psychiatric evaluation, case management, and medication management services specially designed for children and adolescents. Located in Jersey City, the program serves youth and families in Hudson County. As the FT LCSW Program Manager, you will provide managerial and clinical supervision for a children's outpatient counseling center in compliance with New Jersey outpatient licensing regulations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the program meets its contractual obligations, monitoring and addressing staff productivity, and ensuring the necessary flow of referrals into the program. You will also be responsible for completing required reports for the state as well as internal statistics, and managing the program budget. In this role, you will provide clinical supervision to staff with a focus on ongoing staff growth and development, while recommending, guiding, and ensuring the use of clinical best practices in the program. You will manage the program's day-to-day operations and implementation, which includes maintaining data, hiring and supervising staff, negotiating relationships with other entities, and problem-solving to ensure the smooth running of the program. Additionally, you will oversee clinical service delivery for the program, maintain accountability for professional standards, develop and implement policies and procedures, and run weekly clinical team meetings. You will also propose ideas for program development and service enhancements, work collaboratively with the program psychiatrist on coordination of care issues, and collaborate with other children and family service division managers and systems to maintain strong partnerships. This position may require interfacing with the state CSOC system as needed and attending community meetings in Hudson County and with the state to represent the program. Clinical assessments and consultations may also be provided as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and expand management skills in a supportive, child-serving division within Catholic Charities.
