We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in System/Software Engineering and Mission Planning to lead a large Systems Engineering Contract for the Department of War.

  • Manage and oversee the execution of a complex systems engineering contract, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of high-quality products and services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Air Force stakeholders, including program managers, engineers, and logistics personnel
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of systems engineers, software developers, and mission planning specialists
  • Coordinate and integrate the work of multiple subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless execution of contract requirements
  • Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and DoD policies and procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or mission planning, with at least 5 years of experience in a program management role
  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • TS clearance - SCI eligible
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex contracts or programs
  • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and procedures
  • Some experience with running Agile software projects and DevSecOps practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)
  • Experience with DoD systems engineering and acquisition processes, including the Defense Acquisition System and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
  • Familiarity with ITAR and export control regulations
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and cybersecurity best practices
