About The Position

The Program Manager – Student Ambassadors is responsible for developing and managing a statewide network of high school student leaders who promote engagement with the Ken Garff for Good student platform. This platform connects students to volunteer opportunities, internships, scholarships, and leadership experiences that help them prepare for college and future careers. This role identifies, recruits, trains, and supports student ambassadors in high schools who serve as peer advocates encouraging other students to create accounts and actively participate on the platform. Through engagement strategies, events, and digital outreach, the Program Manager ensures students understand how to access opportunities and earn points through platform participation. Students accumulate points for engaging in meaningful activities such as volunteering, applying for scholarships, completing leadership challenges, and exploring college and career pathways. Points can be redeemed for prizes and experiences that act as incentives to motivate students to prepare for post-secondary education and long-term success. Each Program Manager is assigned a geographic region of responsibility regarding school districts promoting our educational initiatives. The Program Manager ensures an emphasis on creating opportunity for rural, including low-income, minority, and female students.
