About The Position

The Program Manager will help specific practices and/or departments in strategically prioritizing and aligning project work with OneDigital’s Operational ecosystem. This role will work cross-functionally with areas including Mergers & Acquisitions, Operations (including PMO), Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Regional Business Leads and service vertical SMEs (P&C, Retirement + Wealth, Medicare, PEO, etc.) in strategically executing all major initiatives. Gaining and using a thorough understanding of OneDigital’s model and value proposition and using operational strategy, the Program Manager will prioritize projects, understand overlaps and connect teams that could be impacted, know who to include as stakeholders, and align with Corporate Operations to best optimize execution in line with company strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of business operations and strategy
  • Experience in managing 'upward' among senior leadership, lead diverse teams and ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all levels
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with the drive to uphold OneDigital’s Shared Values (optimistic, personable, relentless, innovative, responsive, trustworthy, strategic)
  • Maintains composure and professionalism under pressure in dynamic work environment
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with C-suite and Executives

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • PMI certification (e.g., PgMP, PMP) preferred
  • Experience in the employee benefits, financial services, or insurance industries is a plus
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale programs

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple strategic projects for a specific department or practice
  • Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and plans with respective leaders and executive sponsors
  • Coordinate with operational leaders to align program goals with business objectives
  • Oversee the prioritization and execution of key projects and initiatives
  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication
  • Monitor program performance and implement improvements as needed
  • Prepare and present program status reports to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with PMI standards and best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement in program management processes
  • Mentor and guide project managers and team members
  • Foster a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Align program activities with corporate strategy and focus
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships
  • Monitor and coordinate dependencies across the projects in the program, and resolve conflicts and solutions for roadblocks
  • Focus on removing roadblocks, troubleshoot issues, aligning with supporting teams to encourage a path to green on all risks/issues
  • Manage reporting and project updates to track overall success and obstacles to share with leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure they meet contractual obligations and contribute to program success
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
