About The Position

The Program Manager for Special Projects and Investigations at Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for managing a portfolio of global risk mitigation programs. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining processes focused on risk mitigation and enforcement, ensuring a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon's worldwide stores. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis and project management skills to drive improvements and protect customers and selling partners from fraud and abuse.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an existing gating program, delivering difficult projects aligned with team goals.
  • Use high-level judgment and data analysis to make complex risk mitigation decisions across WW stores.
  • Build and maintain a solid understanding of the business problems, tools, workflows, and interdependencies that pertain to your program area.
  • Ownership of the complete life cycle of one or more complex programs - identification and vision through scaling solutions and execution.
  • Break problems into manageable pieces, ruthlessly prioritizing, and delivering results in an ambiguous environment.
  • Own the execution and status reporting of the programs you own to senior leadership through both documents and business update meetings.
  • Own partnerships with stakeholder teams and guide appropriate trade-offs, clearly communicate goals, roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage the overall roadmap and execution of your program, proactively mitigating any risks, and keeping the scope of effort under control.
