Job Summary: This job is responsible for overseeing programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact to department managers for critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive materials and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities. This role is responsible for coaching, influencing, and guiding a large, complex organization through transformation to a SAFe‑aligned Agile planning model. The Agile Coach will serve as a strategic change agent—educating leaders, delivery teams, and business partners on Agile principles, while establishing the processes, behaviors, and routines needed for enterprise‑level Agile planning. This is an individual contributor role, yet it carries significant responsibility for engaging and influencing teams both inside and outside of Client Protection.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Program or Project Management experience with demonstrated experience coaching enterprise teams through Agile transformation
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, especially in less mature Agile environments
  • Strong training, facilitation and communication skills, especially in complex or resistant environments
  • Experience with executive level influence
  • Experience establishing Agile planning constructs from the ground up

Responsibilities

  • Agile Transformation & Coaching: Coach leaders, product owners, delivery teams, and functional partners on Agile mindset, behaviors, and SAFe practices
  • Introduce and embed Agile planning processes where none currently exist (e.g., PI planning, backlog refinement, intake, prioritization, cadences)
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during the transition from Waterfall to Agile delivery
  • Influence & Change Leadership Drive adoption by influencing within a large portfolio
  • Help teams and leaders see the value of Agile planning
  • Create learning experiences, workshops, and communications that build awareness and organizational alignment
  • Portfolio Alignment & Planning Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define a SAFe‑aligned planning model and roadmap
  • Support creation and maturation of value streams, ART structures, and portfolio processes
  • Facilitate the establishment of intake, prioritization, and strategic alignment mechanisms
  • Governance, Operations & Delivery Support Help stand up lightweight governance routines that enable visibility into outcomes, risks, dependencies, and capacity
  • Support leaders in connecting strategy to execution through systems-thinking approaches
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards while enabling iterative planning and continuous improvement
  • Continuous Improvement Identify gaps in processes, capabilities, and team behaviors; recommend and implement improvements
  • Measure effectiveness of Agile adoption through qualitative and quantitative indicators
  • Promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and transparency
