About The Position

Requirements

  • Ability to navigate the firm and work with a diverse range of stakeholder groups is essential.
  • Working knowledge of GS's Global Markets business is an advantage.
  • Proven experience building new relationships to achieve stretch goals and consensus across divisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
  • Drive, motivation, and resilience to handle multiple tasks and persist in the face of obstacles.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, encouraging other team members and acknowledging others' contributions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with confidence and ability to create, structure, and present messages to senior level audiences in PowerPoint.
  • Experience using analytical, quantitative, and MS Excel skills to create summary reports for leadership.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with multiple interdependencies across a number of GS internal teams.
  • Creativity and innovation, with an ability to critically examine current processes to propose and develop improvements.
  • Experience in Smartsheets is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans for regulatory remediation efforts, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external consultants to facilitate remediation efforts and communicate progress.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with remediation projects, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Ensure that remediation projects are prepared for internal and external audit, maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation of remediation activities.
  • Track project progress, prepare status reports, and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of remediation activities, including issue tracking, action plans, and outcomes.
  • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them without complete information.
  • Prepare materials for working groups and committees, project dashboards, operating model diagrams, requirement specifications, test plans, etc.
  • Conduct detailed problem tracking, resolution, and completion of all actions and issues by their deadlines.
  • Communicate updates, statuses, and timelines to stakeholders, and escalate items at risk.
  • Summarize key results to senior management and address their queries.
  • Support teams with best practices, program-wide tools, dashboards, and other enablers.
