About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin Program Manager, Production - Level 4 The successful candidate will join the Program Office as the Program Manager for production activities. This includes Program Management oversight of the value chain from engineering design through build execution, responsibility for program management of certain elements of production work, and ensuring execution meets cost and schedule objectives. This requires cross-functional leadership and collaboration with Global Supply Chain (GSC), Operations, Quality, Engineering, Business Management, and others. The successful candidate will be a self-driven individual who can identify emerging issues and influence others, across the enterprise, to enable issue resolution. The PM may represent the Program and Lockheed Martin to suppliers, customers, and LM senior leadership, and as such must possess excellent communication skills and be able to develop and deliver high-quality briefings. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience in program management, supply chain, operations, or other related discipline
  • Experience translating topics between functional organizations
  • Active Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a production environment and with offload or co-production
  • Knowledgeable of Engineering, Operations, Quality, Tooling, and Supply Chain deliverables
  • Project management experience – understanding critical path to focus resources to hold schedule
  • Earned Value / CAM experience

  • Experience leading multi-functional teams
  • Excellent relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • be responsible for certain elements of cost, schedule, technical, and quality execution of the program
  • ensure supplier agreements meet prime contract requirements, and represent PM in supplier negotiations
  • hold Global Supply Chain accountable to deliver parts on time, expedite appropriately, and validate that comprehensive RCCAs are completed when necessary
  • oversee obsolescence management from a PM perspective, and evolve the DMSMS program with Engineering and customer POCs
  • contribute to developing and executing customer acceptance
  • influence capture strategy and shaping for future business, including participating on capture teams and in proposal development and negotiation
