The Program Manager (Little Cypress Creek Frontier) at Harris County Flood Control District is responsible for overseeing and managing the Frontier program, ensuring alignment with drainage and development goals. This role involves strategic coordination with various stakeholders, including landowners and developers, to ensure compliance with program guidelines. The Program Manager will also manage project managers and consultants, assess risks, and maintain program databases.

  • Manage the overall Frontier program and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the District's division directors and project managers to ensure alignment with interim guidelines and District goals.
  • Collaborate with landowners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure their plans align with the program's guidelines.
  • Manage project managers and consultants associated with the program.
  • Identify, assess, and manage potential risks to program success.
  • Review developer plans within the watershed and make recommendations to ensure compliance and program advancement.
  • Manage and maintain the impact fee account and program database.
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Ten (10) years of direct or related work experience in program management, particularly in land development, urban planning, or engineering.
  • Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications and relevant software for database management and project planning.
  • Strong knowledge of drainage systems, environmental regulations, and land development processes.
  • Previous experience working with government agencies and their governing bodies.
