About The Position

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a Team Freedom Senior Coordinator to lead the development of operations and procedures for the pro athlete team while managing an associate/developing portfolio of athlete families. This position requires excellent intra- and cross-team support, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with confidential and time-sensitive information in a fast-paced professional environment. The role involves representing IJM in 1:1 pro athlete family engagement and development. The position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) and located in the Washington, DC area, reporting to the Head of Team Freedom, North America.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project, program, or operation management experience.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in influencer/pro athlete management preferred.
  • 3 years of portfolio/relationship management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (communication, marketing, etc.).
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated understanding of teamwork project management platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the Team Freedom monthly newsletter for the Athlete Portfolio.
  • Write and create visual reports for athlete audiences, including Year End Reports and Athlete Council communications.
  • Manage operational logistics for regional partnerships and ensure successful execution of events.
  • Travel occasionally to support IJM's presence at key conferences and events.
  • Manage a developmental portfolio of pro athlete partnerships and their families.
  • Serve as a trusted internal representative in meetings and events across the athlete partnerships.
  • Track and report on the Team Freedom Program Budget and build project budgets as needed.
  • Ensure the partnership website is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Monitor and report on IJM-led events and support partnership directors in creating necessary briefs and reports.
  • Manage contracts and invoices to ensure compliance and effective service to partners.
  • Train and share recommendations on Salesforce best practices.
