About The Position

As part of the Veteran Services, the Program Manager LCSW is responsible for the program's day-to-day operations and supervision of service delivery staff. PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Veteran Services Team as the Program Manager LCSW at the RHC Office. Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing. Every program in our growing range of services is designed to holistically address barriers to long-term housing stability, implementing evidence-based practices to promote improved wellbeing beyond housing alone.   • Current and active licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent behavioral health degree eligible for licensure through the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (e.g., MSW, MFT)
  • Two (2) years of experience in healthcare, case management, homeless services or working with vulnerable populations.
  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire: Tuberculosis Test, Background Screening, Drug Test
  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, case management, homeless services or working with vulnerable populations.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience in homeless services or related social services field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the multidisciplinary teams, ensuring continuity of care and services between PATH agency resources and partnering agencies
  • Provide clinical oversight of staff and ensure that all program participants receive the services as identified in each participant service plan.
  • Create and work within a team environment to ensure staff is knowledgeable and familiar with contract expectations, case management and supervisorial expectations and ensure staff is delivering high quality care.
  • Provide individual and team supervision, support, and performance evaluations for assigned staff
  • Ensure that services emphasize trauma informed care, client safety, and harm reduction interventions.
  • Be available to respond to emergency calls and situations as required by the contract and organization
  • Assist in the screening, assessment, and enrollment of clients in a range of services
