About The Position

The Program Manager, IT will be responsible for complex infrastructure projects and program management assignments. The Program Manager, IT is responsible for the success of all projects in the portfolio. This position will be responsible for directing the efforts of multiple departments to achieve clearly defined results operating within the agreed upon time, budget, and specifications of each project. This position is responsible for managing the expectations, deliverables, and results of all project resources, internal and external, as related to the specific roles and activities. The Project Manager organizes, plans, and directs all project work activities; communicates project status to all roles and levels of project stakeholders; and provides specific performance feedback to the respective resource managers. The incumbent will lead large projects that have enterprise level strategic importance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of project delivery
  • Trained project management discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership Skills, especially without direct management responsibility
  • Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, communication
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to work with people from diverse functional backgrounds

Responsibilities

  • Extensive IT project management experience or demonstrated project management skills - including project planning, project control and risk management
  • Responsible for one to three IT projects at any time, executing PM methodology and delivering desirable outcomes (from prepare to transition)
  • Ability to develop project plan, gain consensus and commitment
  • Ensures project stays on schedule and meets the requirements established in the project scope and charter
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Facilitate all reporting and documentation for the project
  • Excellent negotiation skills, ability to manage priorities
  • Ability to plan, execute, and control a project
  • Strong knowledge of business objectives
  • Consults with management and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
  • Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Protect the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
