About The Position

The Program Manager for Interprofessional Education at Texas A&M Health Science Center is responsible for planning and implementing day-to-day activities for interprofessional education initiatives. This role focuses on developing and executing various educational programs aimed at enhancing collaborative competencies among health professions learners. The position requires engagement with students and stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, humanities, health-related studies, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in higher education, health professions education, or a related field.

  • Higher education experience in health professions education.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and online design platforms such as Canva.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities for interprofessional education.
  • Develops and implements procedures for program administration and assists with strategic planning.
  • Monitors budget and related contracts to maintain the overarching program budget.
  • Supports vertical integration of interprofessional education curriculum.
  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to promote program excellence and communication.
  • Assigns tasks to administrative coordinators and student workers to manage workload effectively.
  • Engages in research, writing, and presentation preparation for program operations and dissemination.
  • Engages with students for operational coordination related to interprofessional activity planning.
  • Serves in an advisory capacity for certain initiatives as directed.
  • Performs other duties in support of strategic plans and initiatives.
