About The Position

The Program Manager of Innovation Business Analysis is the strategic "engine room" of the Innovation team. Reporting directly to the Director of Practice Innovation & Technology, this high-impact role blends program management, strategic communications, and business analysis to drive the firm’s most critical AI and GenAI initiatives. We are looking for a candidate who can navigate complex data, build compelling executive narratives (PPT), and manage stakeholders. You will be orchestrating the program’s visibility and ensuring every SteerCo, report, and communication is world-class, with a specific focus on scaling AI enablement across the entire firm. Firm-wide AI Enablement & Adoption Strategy Strategic Roadmap: Design and lead the "last mile" of firm-wide AI adoption. You will move beyond basic training to create a comprehensive enablement strategy that ensures AI tools and agentic workflows are integrated into the daily fabric of legal practice. Practice Group Advisory: Serve as a high-touch consultative partner to practice group leaders. Diagnose substantive legal workflows and prescribe specific AI-driven solutions that solve high-value pain points. Change Management: Own the communication lifecycle and change management strategy. You will develop the narratives that move attorneys from "awareness" to "trust" and "habitual use" of AI technology. Internal Thought Leadership: Identify "power users" and success stories within specific groups; package these wins into tailored internal case studies and thought leadership to drive viral, peer-to-peer adoption. Program Orchestration & Executive Reporting SteerCo & Leadership Readiness: Own the end-to-end preparation for Steering Committee meetings and leadership updates. You will be responsible for synthesizing complex project updates into high-impact, executive-ready presentations (PPT) and briefings. Program Tracking: Act as the "air traffic controller" for innovation initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders and peers are tracking against milestones and providing necessary inputs on time. Strategic Storytelling: Translate raw program updates and adoption data into a cohesive narrative that demonstrates ROI, progress, and strategic alignment with firm goals. Business Analysis & Data Insights Rigorous Analysis: Apply a "Business Analyst" lens to innovation. Leverage technology usage data and adoption metrics to identify trends, uncover regional or practice-level gaps, and "tell the story" of how technology is changing firm-wide efficiency. KPI Development: Define and track the metrics that matter. Move beyond "logins" to measure true value, efficiency gains, and the "human side" of technology ROI. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep dives into practice group performance or vendor efficacy to provide data-backed recommendations for future innovation investments. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Peer Orchestration: Manage relationships with peers in IT, Marketing, and Practice Support to ensure cross-functional alignment on innovation rollouts and AI messaging. Vendor Strategy: Partner with legal tech vendors to customize their enablement materials, ensuring they speak the "firm’s language" and address MoFo-specific use cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or JD is a plus but not required if you have equivalent "battle-tested" experience in professional services or strategy.
  • Proven track record of managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders and leading large-scale change initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Expert-level slide design and storytelling.
  • You likely have 4+ years of experience in management consulting, business analysis, program management, or a Chief of Staff role, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • You are genuinely excited about the frontier of Artificial Intelligence. You don’t just use the tools; you think about how they transform the nature of work and the business of law.
  • You are a master of PowerPoint and Excel/data visualization tools. You can take a messy spreadsheet or a vague idea and turn it into a crisp, persuasive executive deck.
  • You don't wait for instructions. You see a gap in a process, a communication, or a report and you fill it. You are comfortable "managing up" to ensure the program moves forward.
  • You can sit with a partner to understand a complex legal workflow and then pivot to discuss technical requirements with a developer, translating the needs of both perfectly.
