In your capacity as a New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving operations related to new product development, ensuring that products are designed and manufactured to meet Google's high standards. This role is critical in supporting the Technical Infrastructure team, which is responsible for maintaining the architecture that underpins Google's online services. You will work closely with engineering teams to facilitate the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring that all stages are effectively executed and aligned with project goals. Your responsibilities will include leading large, complex, cross-functional program teams, both within Google and with external partners, to prepare for production ramp-up or product transitions. You will plan and execute operations development activities, ensuring that transitions to production are achieved within specified cost, quality, and capacity parameters. Additionally, you will manage ramp readiness with internal teams and external partners, focusing on material availability, cost, assembly, testing, and capacity readiness, while also developing transition plans that meet program objectives. Your role will also involve driving cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for strategic reasons, taking into account risks and changes in schedule or demand.
