About The Position

The Program Manager III will lead and manage various projects within the Impact Spending department. This role requires a strong focus on project management, supplier relationship management, and diversity initiatives. The Program Manager III will be responsible for driving and supporting Kaiser Permanente's affordability agenda, enhancing supplier diversity, and contributing to economic impact goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and quality deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with Kaiser Permanente suppliers, hold suppliers accountable for meeting defined goals, and capture and report program efforts.
  • Manage and expand Kaiser Permanente's Prime Supplier Program, develop strategic plans, and support special projects throughout the year.
  • Lead efforts that enhance the capability of small and local suppliers, support impact hiring programs, and impact the social determinants of health in Kaiser Permanente's communities.
  • Contribute to job creation, cost savings, and connecting small and local businesses to resources and technical assistance in Kaiser Permanente communities.
  • Monitor and identify project/program risks, issues, and trigger events by executing mitigation plans and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance of project/program activities by ensuring project/program plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assist with reviews of vendor performance levels, ensure service level agreements are met, and support contract negotiations with vendors.
