About The Position

The Program Manager III is responsible for leading all phases of assigned programs, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements such as ITAR, TINA, FAR, and Export Compliance. This role oversees project planning and execution, including the development and maintenance of program management plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation, while fostering effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement. The Program Manager applies risk management and quality assurance practices, facilitates integrated change control, and drives continuous process improvement. Additional responsibilities include preparing program reviews and reports, managing transition to production, participating in proposals and make-or-buy decisions, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of functional experience is required including managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects or programs.
  • Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position): ESD, Safety Training, ITAR, Export Compliance, TINA, Risk Management, DAR, EMD Verification, EVM, PLM, PBL, RT3, Project Site, PRIMES.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements (ITAR, TINA, FAR, Export Compliance, EMD, Safety, Security).
  • Utilize and tailor Organizational Process Assets (OPAs), including procedures, templates, and forms, ensuring all program and product documentation is complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Lead all phases of assigned programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure. Develop and maintain Program Management Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, schedules, budgets, and action item logs.
  • Identify, engage, and maintain positive relationships with all program stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Foster effective team building, lead program kick-off and regular team meetings, and implement best practices in meeting facilitation and team performance.
  • Apply risk management and decision analysis techniques, monitor performance and product quality, and review deliverables for accuracy and completeness prior to customer submission.
  • Implement Integrated Change Control to manage scope, apply work authorization systems, and engage in continuous process improvement by submitting suggestions for positive organizational change.
  • Prepare, present, and maintain program reviews, scorecards, and cost/schedule tracking for management and customer stakeholders.
  • Plan for and manage transition to production activities as required.
  • Participate in proposals, make-or-buy decisions, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
