About The Position

The Program Manager II is responsible for the execution and management of complex programs that support departmental and cross-departmental initiatives. This role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring program objectives are met. The Program Manager will engage with stakeholders to facilitate program success and drive continuous improvement. Focuses on aligning projects within the program to achieve strategic goals. The Gastrointestinal Cancer Center is currently recruiting a Program Manager for the Older Adult Gastrointestinal Cancer (OAGC) program. The Program Manager will focus on supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care of older adults diagnosed with esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, liver, biliary tract, small bowel, colorectal, anal or neuroendocrine cancer. The Program Manager will lead development of the longitudinal Pancreas and Biliary Tract disease-specific implementation, patient and provider engagement, and evaluation of the OAGC. This position requires program management skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, resourcefulness, professional maturity, and analytic ability. The OAGC Program Manager will report to the Administrative Director and work closely with the OAGC founding medical director, Dr Nadine Jackson McCleary, research program manager, program coordinator, leadership within the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center, and collaborators advancing older adult care across DFCI.
