As a Program Manager II within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. As a Program Manager II, you’ll lead and support programs within PNC’s CTO infrastructure portfolio, with a focus on path to production, cloud, and hosting initiatives. You’ll work alongside talented project and program managers while driving outcomes that support PNC’s continued growth and national expansion. Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Leads complex programs/projects requiring planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business. Typically, program size may reach or exceed $25m. Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals. Oversight and reporting for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results. Teams with service partners to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels. Requirements

  • Significant experience in project and/or program management within complex environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, organize work, and drive results
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting technology infrastructure, cloud, hosting, or production‑related initiatives
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery models
  • Comfort working across matrixed teams and influencing without direct authority
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex, cross‑functional technology programs from planning through execution and delivery
  • Drive progress across infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies
  • Partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to align priorities and deliver results
  • Contribute to enterprise modernization efforts as part of PNC’s Orange Rocket program—a strategic portfolio focused on innovating and modernizing our technology infrastructure
  • Apply strong program leadership skills to influence outcomes, solve challenges, and keep initiatives moving forward
  • Flex across team priorities as needed, supporting broader program needs with a collaborative mindset
