A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. The Research Conference Outreach (RCO) program, part of Research StratOperations, manages Google Research’s presence at external academic research conferences globally. The program serves as a platform for Google Research (GR) to promote our innovative and groundbreaking work, as well as foster connections within the academic community with a goal of building a healthy collaboration pipeline. We do this by funding sponsorship for priority research conferences and partnerships, as well as developing robust, on-site programming. As a Program Manager on the RCO team, you will oversee end-to-end program management for several conferences within GR’s Outreach portfolio. You will collaborate with Google Research leaders, staffing, marketing, Google DeepMind, and an array of external vendors and partners. You will also have the opportunity to design and refine elements of the overall program strategy and optimize processes and documentation. Google Research addresses challenges that define the technology of today and tomorrow. From conducting fundamental research to influencing product development, our research teams have the opportunity to impact technology used by billions of people every day. Our teams aspire to make discoveries that impact everyone, and core to our approach is sharing our research and tools to fuel progress in the field -- we publish regularly in academic journals, release projects as open source, and apply research to Google products.
