Cleveland Clinic plans to open a Level 1 trauma center in 2028, a development that requires trainees accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education across several specialties, including emergency medicine. As Program Manager for the Graduate Medical Education (GME) department, you will oversee and maintain key initiatives that advance the department’s mission. In this role, you will help develop essential components of the new program, including recruitment systems, workspace planning, and establishing the MedHub infrastructure. You will contribute to the development of the residency program’s core framework by coordinating rotation schedules, didactic curricula and learning objectives. Additionally, you will lead the development of the Medical Student Acting Intern program and establish the infrastructure necessary to support Emergency Medicine education initiatives, including Acting Internships, recruitment activities and daily operational workflows. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. After the new-hire period, caregivers may be eligible for a hybrid schedule that includes up to two remote workdays per week, subject to business needs. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Develop, implement, manage and maintain operational systems and activities. Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization, outside community, residents, directors, attendings and the Graduate Medical Education (GME) office. Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. Allocate time to meet completion requirements. Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience OR High School Diploma / GED and six years of experience
  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development
