PECO Control Systems, a division of Astronics-PECO, is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead our Building Automation & Controls team in the Portland, Oregon metro area. This leadership role represents a unique opportunity to drive strategic growth and market expansion for our innovative temperature controls, including connectivity and efficiency solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team focused on delivering best in class solutions to the HVAC, commercial cooking, and industrial markets. As a key member of our team, you will shape the strategic direction of our Control portfolio, develop new market opportunities, and build lasting partnerships with key customers and channel partners. This role combines strategic business leadership with hands-on market engagement, requiring both executive level thinking and field sales execution.

  • Drive revenue expansion through new market penetration and existing customer growth.
  • Manage operating budgets, pricing strategies, and margin optimization initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in building automation, smart building technologies, and IoT.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Lead direct sales efforts with key accounts and strategic customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with OEM partners, distribution channels, and manufacturer representatives.
  • Conduct Senior leader level presentations and product demonstrations to C-suite decision-makers.
  • Travel up to 50% to engage with customers and market opportunities.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related technology markets.
  • Proven track record with comprehensive P&L and operational oversight.
  • Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performance sales and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of building automation systems, HVAC controls, and energy management technologies.
  • Proven outside sales skills with the ability to close complex, high-value deals.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to support technical product questions.
  • Experience with major building automation companies (e.g., Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens).
  • Familiarity with smart building trends, IoT applications, and connected building technologies.
  • Experience with OEM manufacturing customer requirements.
