About the position

The Housing Stabilization Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housing Stabilization program, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies, and managing a team of housing stabilization staff. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of housing stabilization services in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Housing Stabilization program, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage and support a team of housing stabilization staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) guidelines and all other applicable regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients, community organizations, and government agencies.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure financial accountability within the program.
  • Conduct regular program evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle client escalations and address service-related concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports for internal and external purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in housing services, social work, or community-based services.
  • Previous experience in a management or leadership role is required.
  • Familiarity with Minnesota Housing Stabilization Services and DHS requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
