About The Position

The successful candidate will report to the VP of Operations and support the management of real estate functions throughout MMA SW. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate real estate, including inspections, site visits, financial analysis, overseeing fit-outs, and reporting/presenting to executives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience.
  • Understanding of facilities management and/or real estate operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build credibility and exude confidence in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills with Executive level leadership.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy in dealing with service areas, consultants, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the VP of Operations with the management of the Real Estate Services function throughout MMA SW.
  • Ensures that facility appearance and functionality are maintained at all times to create a positive work environment.
  • Monitors and analyzes facility space utilization to optimize layout and cut down on wasteful uses of space.
  • Organizes location moves, instructing internal departments and outside vendors to ensure a smooth transition with minimal workflow disruptions.
  • Supports real estate areas such as lease administration, facility operations, service delivery methods, and purchasing.
  • Prepares and delivers projects across multiple locations concurrently.
  • Adheres to key deadlines, communicates to senior stakeholders, and oversees budgets and financial details.
  • Follows up with contractor representatives and resolves discrepancies in design specifications to eliminate delays and changes in projects.
  • Performs vetting process and industry research to ensure that vendors are pre-qualified and that all insurance requirements are satisfied before commencement of work.
  • Reviews and packages data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government regulations, life safety, security, and business resiliency for respective locations.
  • Establishes and communicates criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment to meet unique operating requirements and building/safety codes.
  • Regularly revises and updates the emergency evacuation plan and team rosters, attending life/safety meetings in order to confirm evacuation procedures are understood and assigned to individuals/teams.
  • Oversees Regional Coffee and Food Vendors.
  • Travels to US offices, primarily in Texas and Louisiana as needed (25% travel).
  • All other duties, as assigned.
