As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. As an EHS Program Manager, you will be a key contributor to continuous improvement across Google's EHS operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Google Data Center departments and contractors to identify and address EHS concerns, risk identification and mitigation. You will ensure the safety of the operations workforce, protection of the environment, and Google's business. Furthermore, you will provide support with the implementation of new and critical EHS initiatives. The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what's possible. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program or project management.
Experience with managing environmental health programs.
Experience with managing safety programs.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience with air quality emissions and permitting.

Responsibilities

Lead the full life-cycle of EHS programs, which may extend beyond our immediate team, driving impactful operational and technical improvements.
Anticipate issues, propose solutions, and identify needs to develop or improve EHS Opeartions tools/processes. Evaluate incident data and track corrective actions.
Evaluate EHS impact during data center design reviews, equipment, and process changes. Perform EHS risk evaluations and define process controls for new processes.
Ensure comprehensive Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) compliance, manage permits/KPIs. Provide site ownership and drive EHS turn-up of new locations with little supervision, demonstrating complete campus EHS ownership.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, managing dependencies. Own site-based EHS decision-making and serve as a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple EHS verticals.
