The Decarbonize DRCOG Program Manager will lead the Energy Advising, Rebates, and Low-Income Disadvantaged Communities Programs aimed at transforming the built environment in the Denver metro area.   • Direct staff by prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring staff training.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and assessment of strategic initiatives aligned with division objectives.
  • Manage program and project development, evaluation, and reporting, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Develop and oversee multiple budgets and contracting functions, monitoring expenditures.
  • Maintain internal and external relationships, representing the program at meetings and community events.
  • Lead the strategy for LIDAC incentives, energy advising, and innovation fund for building decarbonization programs.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for the DRCOG Board and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, management, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in programs serving low-income individuals or energy advising.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate work effectively.
  • Knowledge of building decarbonization principles and sustainability planning.
  • Experience with grant management and contract management.
  • Familiarity with Human Centered Design Principles and Environmental Justice initiatives.
  • Knowledge of existing programs for energy support and housing repair services.
