The Department of Emergency Management develops and operates an integrated Emergency Management Program and Emergency Operations Plan to provide sustainable quality and ethical care to patients in any reasonably foreseeable environment or circumstance. This department establishes and maintains an effective response to and recovery from disasters - internal and external - as well as large scale emergencies that impact our environment of care. The goal is to minimize risk to patients, visitors and caregivers through proper planning in mitigation, prevention, protection, response and recovery.
