About The Position

The Senior Program Manager, Operations & Supply Chain (D365 ERP) is accountable for leading the end-to-end implementation, stabilization, and long-term optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations functions. This role serves as the business owner and integrator for Operations and Supply Chain capabilities within D365—ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and drive measurable improvements in service, cost, inventory, and execution discipline. The role bridges Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and external partners to deliver sustainable value well beyond go-live.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of Operations and/or IT leadership experience; experience managing solutions that serve a Global organization is a plus.
  • Prior experience leading D365 enterprise teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 ERP implementation leadership, planning and management. Experience with integrating D365 F&O and 3rd party/ISV solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee the planning and execution of D365FO CRP, UAT, and other system validation testing.
  • Experience with Change Management, specifically overseeing Training Strategy and Internal and external communications Strategy development and execution.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Operations and Supply Chain workstreams for D365 F&O implementation across manufacturing and distribution sites.
  • Own business readiness, deployment sequencing, and cutover strategy for: Production planning & scheduling MRP / Master Planning Inventory management Procurement & sourcing Warehousing & logistics Quality and shop-floor execution (as applicable)
  • Serve as the primary business counterpart to IT, PMO, and implementation partners for Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Define and standardize future-state operating models enabled by D365.
  • Lead process design decisions, balancing: System capabilities Operational reality Change impact to plants and supply chain teams.
  • Ensure consistent use of global templates while allowing for controlled local variation where required.
  • Partner with HR, OCM, and functional leaders to drive: Role clarity Training effectiveness Super-user and site champion models
  • Translate system changes into clear operational behaviors for planners, buyers, schedulers, warehouse teams, and plant leadership.
  • Act as a visible leader during hypercare and stabilization phases.
  • Own the transition from implementation to optimization, ensuring D365 becomes embedded in daily operations.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging D365 capabilities to drive: Inventory reduction Improved forecast accuracy and plan adherence Improved OTIF / service levels Reduced expedites and manual workarounds.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards tied to operational performance and ERP effectiveness.
  • Influence senior Operations and Supply Chain leaders to align on decisions and trade-offs.
  • Provide clear, executive-level updates on risks, dependencies, and value realization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to site leaders during transformation.
