About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team to assist in the management of operations programs. The ideal individual will be driven and have prior experience supporting design, construction, facilities, or operations programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, program/project management or related field
  • Minimum 7-12 years of relevant experience
  • A thorough knowledge of Program Management methods and best practices
  • Thinks critically and creatively about how to regularly improve process and operations
  • Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple work streams, assess deliverables and timelines
  • Delivery-focused, proactive, collaborative; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (including technical design/construction teams)
  • Collaborative, able to thrive amongst ambiguity; demonstrated skill at listening to business requests to understand the "why" and business problem behind them, delivering what's needed, not just what's asked
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills
  • Technology competencies: advanced in Excel or Numbers, Keynote, Miro, & Wrike; emphasis in graphic communication
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technology and complex workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Retail & Workplace sector experience preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and develop a POV related to design/construction requirements and documents (ie; estimates, budgets, scopes of work, drawings, specifications)
  • Competent user of data management software and systems for data management, analytics, and quality assurance
  • Project, Program, or Change Management or other field related certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design, construction, facilities operations programs, ensuring alignment with overall goals, objectives and priorities.
  • Help shape, drive, and maintain small to large scale initiatives (or portion of) encompassing processes, best practices, governance, standards and continuous improvement rhythms
  • Facilitate collaborative discussions with stakeholders, cross-functional partners, subject matter experts, and senior leaders, collaboratively navigating diverse perspectives to reach well-explored decisions and drive alignment.
  • Translate complex business challenges into streamlined, scalable process designs, considering the intersection of people, business goals, technology, and global compliance.
  • Proactively identify and map complex upstream, downstream, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure process changes are implemented smoothly to completion.
  • Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify process inefficiencies, set measurable targets for improvement, and deliver executive-level dashboards and reports showing program status & trends
  • Visualize concepts (slides, whiteboards) to document process, clarify options, and solidify decisions and communicate standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the effort to win new work by participating in bids for scopes of work.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering professional development and positive team dynamics.
  • Monitor project performance and provide reporting on key performance indicators.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
