About The Position

The Program Manager - Cybersecurity & Digital Risk at BD will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives for the Chief Security Office (CSO). This position involves managing the execution of cybersecurity programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work within a highly matrixed organization, coordinating with various teams to enhance the organization's security posture while adhering to project management methodologies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience overseeing cybersecurity projects and programs, with at least 3-5 years in a management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Professional Project Management Credentials from accredited institutions (PMP®, Prince® preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CSM, ACP, Agile Certified Practitioner, SCRUM certifications, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree in a related field.
  • Educational certificate or training in a process methodology.
  • Consulting experience with the Big 4 consulting firms.
  • Expert in Agile Ways of Working and can bring Product Model Expertise into the Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and initiatives that contribute to the organization's security posture.
  • Establish clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables for each cybersecurity program.
  • Manage the execution of programs and projects within budget, schedule, and scope while minimizing risk.
  • Monitor program performance and adjust strategies to achieve cybersecurity goals.
  • Ensure alignment of cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Work in a highly matrix organization of cybersecurity professionals, including analysts, engineers, and consultants.
  • Develop and manage cybersecurity program budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Communicate cybersecurity strategies, progress, and risks to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
