About The Position

CDI seeks a highly organized and service-oriented Program Manager to support CDI’s partnerships and initiatives. This full-time, remote role will work closely with CDI’s Culture Change team to streamline systems, coordinate logistics, and ensure the seamless execution of projects and campus partnerships. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of project coordination and content support—someone who can keep complex initiatives running smoothly while ensuring CDI’s materials reflect our high standards for clarity and design. This position is perfect for a strong communicator who values efficiency, organization, and mission-driven work. The Program Manager reports to the Director of Campus Culture Change.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in program or project coordination, ideally within education, consulting, or nonprofit settings.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication and editing skills, with a good eye for design and visual clarity.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Suite, PowerPoint/Slides, and Asana; comfort learning new platforms quickly.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to CDI’s mission to strengthen civic culture through constructive dialogue.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Asana projects, task lists, and documentation to ensure visibility and accountability across teams.
  • Coordinate activities for complex projects involving campus stakeholders, keeping efforts organized, on schedule, and aligned with project goals.
  • Manage project communication, including drafting and responding to emails on behalf of CDI staff to ensure timely and professional correspondence.
  • Design and refine processes (e.g., interview workflows, documentation templates) to improve coordination, consistency, and efficiency across projects.
  • Tailor and format presentation slides and partner materials to align with school contexts and project needs.
  • Collaborate with CDI staff to refine and version content while maintaining consistency with organizational voice and style.
  • Prepare and package materials for workshops, proposals, and partner meetings.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date files and records of all program content and materials.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and schedule partner engagements.
  • Track decision making and action items and follow-up tasks.
