About The Position

This role is designed for an experienced program management professional who excels at translating regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable, high-impact programs. You will lead complex, cross-functional compliance initiatives that span hardware, product, and regulatory domains, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and with quality. Collaborating with Legal, Product, Engineering, Hardware, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams, you will coordinate execution, resolve dependencies, and provide guidance on compliance implementation. The position requires balancing strategic oversight with hands-on operational management, including governance, reporting, and process improvement. You will play a key role in maintaining organizational compliance while enabling scalable, repeatable program execution. This is a remote position within the United States.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of program management experience within regulatory, compliance, hardware, product/technical, or risk domains.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional programs as an individual contributor.
  • Experience managing hardware compliance programs (e.g., safety, EMC/RF, environmental, labeling, certifications, market access).
  • Strong understanding of translating regulatory requirements into operational and technical implementation plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent program management skills: planning, execution, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to interact with engineers, legal counsel, hardware teams, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with program management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet) and data/visualization tools (e.g., Mode, Tableau, Excel).
  • Self-starter with high ownership, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, experience in high-growth/startup and matrixed organizations, familiarity with quality management, audits, risk frameworks, and relevant certifications (PMP, CCEP).

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end compliance programs, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Legal, Product, Engineering, Hardware, Operations, and Marketing teams.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable work plans, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Manage hardware compliance programs, including pre-compliance testing, certification activities, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Lead broader compliance initiatives covering marketplace obligations, consumer protection, and jurisdiction-specific rules.
  • Establish program governance, including status meetings, RACI matrices, dashboards, and KPIs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to teams on compliance processes, requirements, and best practices.
