About The Position

The CarMax Compliance Services (CCS) Program Manager is part of a team that supports operational regulatory compliance for CarMax across a broad array of applicable laws and regulations. This scope includes: operational compliance with applicable internal policies/procedures, state and federal laws, regulations, frameworks, contractual requirements, or other guidelines. The Program Manager will drive projects, recurring programs, and initiatives in support of CCS objectives and overarching risk and compliance requirements for the enterprise. What you will do – Essential Responsibilities As the Program Manager for CCS you will be responsible for leading numerous recurring programs to ensure timeliness and quality in execution. Additionally, you will drive CCS forward through various strategic initiatives requiring cross functional collaboration and creative, strategic execution. The ability to navigate change, lead collaboratively, work in unfamiliar areas, focus on improvement, and drive positive experiences will be key for this leader. Support Company and Legal & Compliance department strategic initiatives where managed by CCS by: researching and/or partnering cross functionally to develop options and recommendations; developing and executing on communications plans and content; facilitating collaborative working sessions; developing and managing project plans; and providing updates. Manage and/or support ongoing programs that CCS is responsible for executing (recurring training and policy/procedure reviews, periodic executive updates, quarterly Audit Committee and other Board communications, CCS departmental forums and strategic planning sessions, etc.) Manage the development, improvement, and reviews of CCS policies, program documents, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal strategic plans. Develop communications standards, templates, materials, and messaging to drive consistency and organization of timelines and content. Lead and evolve the execution of periodic risk assessment activities for regulatory compliance risks. Collaborate closely with leaders in CCS and Legal to gather necessary information. Ensure alignment and appropriate reviews. Ensure capture and dissemination of all necessary information including integration with the Enterprise Risk Management program and technical tools. Support CCS in collaborative efforts with other risk teams. Manage other Legal & Compliance projects as assigned. Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the CarMax Auto Finance Location in Kennesaw GA or the Richmond Home Office Location, in Richmond VA and have a Hybrid work arrangement. Associates based in Kennesaw work onsite 5 days per week. Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will not be considered for this specific role.
