In AACPS, the community school coordinator is called the Community Schools Program Manager. Collaborates with the school administration and the Office of Community and School-Based programming to establish a community school. Responsible for relationship management with all stakeholders including school leaders and district leaders, government agencies, and organizations to connect families with existing wraparound resources in the four pillars of physical health, social, emotional, and behavioral health, 2+ generational supports, and academic enrichment. Designs and implements programming that supports families in all pillars and increasing family and community engagement in the community school.
