The Program Manager-Community Partners provides clinical leadership and operational oversight primarily for community-based programs, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, ethical, and evidence‑based services. This role is responsible for supervising clinical staff, managing program performance, and creating meaningful relationships with community partners. The Program Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, supports staff development, and ensures services are responsive to patient needs and organizational priorities. This position combines direct clinical expertise with strong leadership, program management, and strategic planning skills to advance positive client outcomes and program effectiveness. Please note this is a SCORF grant-funded position through September 30, 2026, subject to annual renewal. Requirements

  • A master’s degree in human services field is required
  • At least three (3) years of experience providing substance use disorder (SUD) and/or mental health therapeutic services or interventions is required.
  • External candidates must be licensed within the State of South Carolina as a LMSW, LISW, LPC, or LMFT OR be certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) or Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) through Addictions Professional of South Carolina (APSC)
  • Internal candidates must be in-process and on-track to be ADC/AADC certified and/or licensed in South Carolina as a LMSW, LISW, LPC, or LMFT

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with clinical supervision is highly preferred
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Attend department Treatment Team Meetings and lead programmatic Treatment Teams
  • Conduct monthly focused reviews of clinical documentation
  • Provide individual clinical supervision for assigned staff
  • Facilitation group supervision as needed for assigned staff
  • Provide coverage for patient services as needed
  • Participate in assigned meetings and committees: QA/CAC Committee, Treatment Coordinators, Supervisors Meeting, and Program Manager meetings
  • Provide 2nd signature for required documentation
  • Monitor implementation of new programs/program improvements
  • Ensure fidelity to evidence based practices through observation, recording sessions, and coaching
  • Build connections and mutually beneficial partnerships with external community partners to provide continuity of care across various agencies and entities in the fields of behavioral and mental health
  • Attend meetings with community partners and serve as an advocate for LRADAC and our services
  • Responsible for all personnel-related actions within the assigned departments including hiring selections, advancement, promotion, firing, disciplinary, and overall performance management including setting performance standards and goals.
  • Creates a compelling work environment and culture with a shared purpose of changing lives and communities.
  • Manage supervision and training plans for assigned staff
  • Conduct employee coaching and clinical performance improvement
  • Participate in the coordination of ongoing staff needs and development with the management team.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Delivers training to LRADAC staff as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
