State Street Investment Management (IM), formerly known as State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), is undertaking a multi-year transformation program to modernize its front, middle and back-office capabilities. This initiative is core to IM's long-term strategy to increase operating leverage, improve scalability, and enhance service delivery for our investment teams. We are seeking a Vice President, Program Manager to play a central role in driving this complex program forward. Reporting to the SVP leading the initiative, this individual will help coordinate execution, engage with business and technology partners, and ensure outcomes are delivered in line with IM's strategic objectives. The VP will act as a key connector across internal teams and State Street affiliates (Global Delivery, Global Technology Services, and Client Pathways), ensuring transparency, alignment, and accountability across all phases of the program. This position sits within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization at IM and offers the opportunity to shape the future-state operating model for one of the world's leading investment managers.

  • Drive the day-to-day execution of the Client Pathways transformation program roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and outcomes.
  • Partner with the SVP to run program governance, including creation of steering committee materials, executive dashboards, facilitation of program/workstream meetings, and coordination of senior leadership updates.
  • Track progress and interdependencies across workstreams and proactively identify risks, blockers, or resource gaps.
  • Ensure alignment across Technology, Investments, Middle office operations, Risk, Compliance, and Corporate teams.
  • Co-lead overall program with the named Alpha Pathways lead, including workstream management, implementation strategy, execution, status and executive reporting, and issue management & escalation.
  • Participate in business analysis as needed to understand the full complete ecosystem of enterprise Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) systems.
  • Act as a liaison between IM and State Street affiliate teams (Global Delivery, Client Pathways, and GTS), supporting alignment on future-state service design and delivery expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across technology, operations, and functional leadership teams.
  • Coordinate with Investments and COO leadership to ensure cross-functional needs are incorporated and addressed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the future-state operating model for outsourced front, middle and back-office services.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to incorporate roles, processes, controls, and KPIs into existing governance programs.
  • Participate in vendor oversight processes, including service-level reviews, issue escalation, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure strong risk and control frameworks are embedded into transformed processes and platforms.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Corporate Audit to anticipate regulatory expectations and internal control standards.
  • Support proactive identification and mitigation of risks tied to operating model shifts and service delivery transitions.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to track program budget and funding allocations across multiple State Street organizations.
  • Support multi-year planning and scenario modeling to inform investment decisions and sequencing.
  • Deliver accurate and transparent reporting on program financials, KPIs, and program health.
  • Assist in sequencing broader strategic initiatives alongside the core transformation roadmap.
  • 10 years of experience in financial services, with at least 8 years in program or transformation leadership roles within financial services.
  • Deep understanding of investment management operations and the front-to-back investment lifecycle of ABOR, IBOR and transaction management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of risk and control frameworks, service-level oversight, and operational resiliency practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working in matrixed, global organizations across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong proficiency and experience in Large, Enterprise Technology Program Management.
