About The Position

Avivo's Ending Homelessness division is dedicated to creating pathways to housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. We partner with county coordinated entry systems and tribal governments, and we operate innovative outreach and housing programs—including Avivo Village, a culturally responsive, low-barrier shelter. Our division provides site-based housing, scattered-site programs, and transitional recovery lodging for individuals and families engaged in treatment. We use culturally responsive, trauma-informed, harm reduction, and Housing First approaches in all we do. As Program Manager for Bimosedaa, you will provide direct leadership and oversight of a Housing Support-funded site-based program serving adults with a history of long-term homelessness. You will supervise a team of Housing Case Managers and oversee daily operations, staff development, compliance, and program outcomes. You'll collaborate closely with the Program Director to ensure delivery of high-quality services rooted in harm reduction and Housing First, while also engaging with community partners and funders. This is a full-time position based on a 32-hour work week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 5+ years of direct client service experience, including lived experience (1 year credit max); OR
  • Associate degree and 3+ years of experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (behavioral health preferred)
  • Experience working in housing-focused programs using Harm Reduction and Housing First
  • Strong communication, documentation, and team leadership skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
  • Experience with electronic health records (Credible preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and support staff development
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make data-informed decisions
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • LADC, LPCC, LICSW, or dual-licensed strongly preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders and long-term homelessness
  • Familiarity with Housing Support administration and funding streams

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain a diverse, high-functioning team aligned with Avivo's mission
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff performance through a trauma-informed and supportive lens
  • Ensure staff are cross-trained and supported to maintain consistent, high-quality service delivery
  • Develop and oversee site-based case management services that align with harm reduction and Housing First practices
  • Monitor program outcomes and staff performance using data and Credible electronic health records
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to develop policies, meet contract requirements, and ensure compliance
  • Manage program budget in partnership with the Program Director and ensure efficient resource use
  • Maintain strong communication and partnerships with funders, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Support staff through timely responses to urgent client needs and program issues
  • Represent the program and Avivo at community meetings, events, and collaborative initiatives
