About The Position

The Program Manager for Auxiliary, Health & Wellbeing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is responsible for overseeing the Mental Health Early Action on Campus (MHEAC) Act. This role focuses on addressing gaps in mental health services through training, peer support, and community partnerships. The Program Manager will manage daily operations, coordinate outreach initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations while enhancing the effectiveness of funded programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in higher education, public health, social work, or related field.
• Four years of work experience in program or project management in a relevant environment.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of MHEAC programs and activities, including scheduling meetings and distributing materials.
• Develop strategies to effectively manage and enhance programs funded by the MHEAC grant.
• Act as the MHEAC representative and campus liaison, promoting the Act's mission and engaging with the campus community.
• Oversee training and educational initiatives, planning and facilitating programs to meet grant requirements.
• Draft and finalize quarterly and annual reports for the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
• Research grant funding opportunities and coordinate efforts to develop strong applications.
• Coordinate outreach initiatives across digital platforms and remain informed about campus resources.
• Interpret and apply relevant regulations and advise University staff on compliance.
