About The Position

This role involves planning and coordinating all aspects of complex technical projects from initiation to delivery, covering the complete end-to-end process. Projects may include hardware and software installations, upgrades, site maintenance, development, or other specialized areas. The Program Manager coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. They develop detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes, including resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints. The role also involves providing technical project/program advice and leadership company-wide, working with management to set strategic direction for the project management office, and ensuring projects align with business objectives. A key aspect is leading the introduction of new methodologies, technologies, and tools to drive operational efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage. The manager will handle large, complex portfolios of projects or multi-year programs, such as IT infrastructure upgrades or cloud migration initiatives, and lead project prioritization across the organization. They will develop risk frameworks and mitigation strategies, set governance standards, and monitor emerging technologies like AI, edge computing, and cybersecurity. Within the Global AI Practice, the role manages and coordinates interactions with CCO and BU GTM teams, ensuring actionable plans for opportunities, developing end-to-end deal tracking, and driving completion. It also involves coordinating Principal Technologists' Office Hours, material publication (tech blog series), tech talks, and driving artifact creation timelines. The role drives overall program status and action-focused sprint roadmaps, coordinates offering roadmaps within the Practice and across CA&I/ECS BUs, manages weekly leadership communications, and maintains the Unisys Intranet All Things AI site. Additionally, it includes creating leadership dashboards and managing strategic projects and programs within the Practice.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 8-12 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government (due to access to export-controlled commodities and technology).

  • Develop and produce mechanism for end-to-end deal tracking, actions and owners.

  • Drive overall program status and action focused sprint roadmaps.
  • Coordinate offering roadmaps and capabilities within the Practice and across CA&I / ECS BUs.
  • Manage weekly leadership communications and raise blockers as they occur.
  • Maintain Unisys Intranet All Things AI site with training, UniPAL asset links, Governance and Enablement, “ask me anything” form and updates on a regular basis.
  • Create dashboard for leadership “instant status” access.
  • Manage strategic projects and programs as needed within the Practice, including executive dashboards, vendor and internal project plans and timeline / deliverables tracking
