About The Position

Requirements

  • PMP certification within one year of hire.

  • Master's degree in engineering, construction, or project management.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Document project management work processes in policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Amtrak project management standards and policies through reviews and assessments.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of data projects, tools, or initiatives.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, trends, and best practices; present recommended improvement opportunities to management.
  • Develop and deliver training on project delivery best practices and related changes.
