About The Position

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product, involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget. Monitor project(s) from initiation through delivery. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. May consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. May telecommute. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager-ProdDev-related occupation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end program management and effective partnerships with engineering, supply chain, demand planning, sourcing and delivery teams.
  • Develop and maintain scalable capacity and demand planning models for data center hardware to align forecasts with product roadmaps and infrastructure growth targets
  • Drive cross-functional execution for new infrastructure programs, including requirements, material readiness, schedule adherence, and go/no-go gates supporting AI/ML and cloud growth.
  • Define inventory planning and transition strategies based on utilization and service targets to reduce excess and obsolete(E&O) while meeting cost and SLA objectives.
  • Utilize Six Sigma/Lean principles to develop and standardize new processes, conduct root cause analysis, establish tracking mechanisms and KPIs to measure business outcomes and goals
  • Effectively communicate performance insights, roadblocks and recommendations provide visibility to senior leadership in various forums not limited to daily, weekly or monthly business reviews.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and SQL to conduct analysis to build business cases and actions plans. Ability to collaborate with product managers, data engineers/scientists for automation of processes, UAT testing, scenario planning and feature improvements.
  • Hands on experience with various planning, project management tools and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle Fusion, O9, Jira, Confluence.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain, demand planning, sourcing, planning and logistics operations to build vendor relationships, analyze risk factors and develop contingency plans for critical delivery
  • Technical acumen and understanding of cloud data center products and technologies contributing to datacenter AI/ML growth including servers, rack integrations, networking, optical and routing components.
