About The Position

NOTE: This position is located at Nordstrom's downtown Seattle headquarters and follows a hybrid work model, with four days in the office and one remote workday each week. We don’t just sell cutting‑edge fashion and accessories — we create them. Our talented fashion design team, the Nordstrom Product Group (NPG), develops, designs, produces, and sources all Nordstrom‑brand products. From traditional to trendy, this team shapes the styles and looks our customers love. And now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager 2 to join this team. This position will support the transformational evolution for the Nordstrom Product Group. This person will be responsible for managing complex programs and capabilities, leading the Nordstrom Product Group teams through change management and execution excellence. This individual is creative, collaborative, and a problem solver focused on continuously improving the status quo to bring beautiful product to our customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful program delivery
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize, manage, and execute large scale, high impact, and high complexity initiatives and deliverables with minimal oversight, drive collaboration and engagement across cross functional leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support, manage and provide insights to help inform ongoing program portfolio and support program and strategy leadership decision making, and problem solve and take initiative in emerging or ambiguous project situations, engaging with cross-functional partners and business team members as needed to continue progress.
  • Support day to day project management and change management for transformational workstreams while driving alignment with overall program portfolio and ensure project execution supports NPGs long-term strategic vision.
  • Proactively build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive project decision making and alignment.
  • Document, organize and communicate complex information to cross-functional audiences, both technical and business, to drive actions including updated project status and changes in strategy, initiatives, standards, processes, priorities, and resource allocation.
  • Create, evolve & communicate capability requirements that form cohesive, iterative plans aligning to a multi-year strategic program.
  • Manage prioritization of business needs, define the technical components of capability roadmap and project scope, and owns process definition and maintenance.
  • Act as a mentor to others on the team, and influence stakeholder expectations through direct relationship building.
  • Deliver program updates, demonstrations, and risk/mitigation strategies to audiences ranging from working teams to Steering Committee level.
  • Assess the impact of process and technology changes on the business, and proactively drive readiness through communication strategies, training approaches, and sustainable documentation that equips end users for success.
