About The Position

The Opportunity : Lead high-visibility programmatic efforts for a critical Department of War cybersecurity program. Manage the full lifecycle of key initiatives, from planning and requirements definition to execution and delivery. Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budget s, and risk management plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met on schedule. Oversee system testing activities and provide mentorship to junior staff members. Travel within the U.S. when necessary to accommodate client needs.

Requirements

  • Experience leading programmatic or technical meetings with senior-level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of project and schedule management, including developing and tracking timelines and budget s
  • Ability to draft, edit, and perform quality control on complex technical documentation
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 18+ years of experience in program management, Associate’s degree and 16+ years of experience in program management, Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience in program management, OR Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience in program management

  • Experience working in cleared facilities
  • Experience with government configuration management or program management sof t war e
  • Experience in the U.S. Military
  • Knowledge of Navy-specific systems engineering and installation processes
  • Knowledge of cryptographic equipment or secure communications systems
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process or DAWIA framework
  • Ability to mentor and provide informal oversight to junior staff members
  • Project Management Professional ( PMP ) C ertification
