How You’ll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own GDIT is seeking a talented Program Management Office (PMO) Analyst who is passionate about technology and software applications. This individual must be motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact some of GDIT’s most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country. The work you’ll do will be impactful to the mission of our NYS customer. You will play a crucial role as you join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 7.0 million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange (HBE).

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology Management or related field from a United States-based college or university.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Teams)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with team members.
  • Be self-aware enough to identify and correct your mistakes and not be afraid to ask for help when needed.
  • Prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
  • Be active in seeking out ways to develop yourself and gain new knowledge personally and professionally.
  • Intuitiveness with an ability to identify and solve complex problems related to rapidly changing technology.
  • A sense of genuine, intellectual curiosity and a nimble mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Understanding of quality management or continuous improvement principles.
  • Exposure to SLA/KPI frameworks and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Supports a contract program with administrative and analytical tasks.
  • Supports data management function with performance analytics.
  • Supports quality management function with monitoring standards, conducting audits, process reviews and compliance checks.
  • Supports Service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring and reporting.
  • Assists with program governance to meet contractual requirements.
