As a Program Management Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. The Program Management Manager serves as a senior leadership role within the C&IB and AMG organization, providing strategic direction and oversight for complex, cross‑functional programs aligned to enterprise priorities. This role manages two System Directors supporting the technology vertical from the PMO, ensuring consistent, disciplined execution across platforms, business units, and distribution channels. This role will be responsible for leading a team of Program Managers, driving program excellence, strengthening governance, and ensuring delivery of intended business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong people leadership, financial acumen, cross‑functional collaboration, and a deep commitment to customer focus and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to-end planning, execution, and governance of organizational programs aligned to corporate strategies—regardless of program size or complexity.
  • Oversee program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and delivery outcomes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor program effectiveness, identify performance gaps, and implement enhancements to drive improved business results.
  • Ensure consistent execution practices across the portfolio while fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Provide oversight of program budgets, funding allocations, and financial reporting, ensuring effective fiscal management aligned with approved governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise governance frameworks, risk protocols, and control requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, financial, operational, and regulatory risks across programs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Program Managers and System Directors to build a high‑performance, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
  • Support career development, succession planning, and capability building within the PMO organization.
  • Set clear expectations, provide continuous feedback, and model strong leadership behaviors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, senior business and technology leaders, and service partner leadership.
  • Ensure seamless, consistent delivery across platforms, business units, and distribution channels.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insights on program health, strategic trade‑offs, and delivery implications.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service partners to ensure alignment and execution quality.
  • Evaluate and refine program management tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
  • Leverage lessons learned, best practices, and data‑driven insights to strengthen future program outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the PMO to optimize delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
