Raytheon - Advance Products & Solution (APS) is seeking a Director, Program Management to support a highly visible complex area within the Electro-Optical and Infrared Solutions (EOIRS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). This Program Area has products in all phases of the product lifecycle with primary focus on domestic customers, including major primes, across ground and airborne domains. You will be expected to set strategy, vision and direction for a cross-functional team, including multiple direct reports, to ensure successful execution leading to the achievement of business objectives. You will be expected to drive focus on overall product affordability, product integrity, on-time deliveries while ensuring a team culture of trust and respect.

  • Estimate at Completions (EACs) inputs
  • Coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions between customers and other primes
  • Develop and execute program area growth strategies and drive continued productivity improvements
  • Understand and represent customer needs to leadership while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and key suppliers
  • Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance
  • Travel to support domestic and international business engagements
  • Bachelor's degree and 14 years of relevant experience
  • Program management experience (in one or all of the following): leading development, transition to production, production and/or sustainment programs
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support) and/or administrative functions
  • Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Proven success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
  • Program Management Level-3 Certification required to be obtained after onboarding
  • Experience working with U.S. Army and/or Prime contractors on government programs (complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
  • Experience developing and implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies for franchise programs
  • Oversight and monitoring of supplier performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
  • An active and in-scope Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration
