About The Position

Peraton is searching for a talented Program Management Anayst to become part of Peraton’s Citizens Security & Public Services, Department of Homeland Security team. This position is remote. Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in data review, reporting, and project coordination, including budget oversight, to support the Project/Program Manager. Aid the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and overseeing projects throughout their lifecycle, including reporting on schedules and deliverables. Provide management with updates on action item status and metrics for tracking contract performance. Coordinate projects, establish data collection systems and reporting criteria, and compile statistics and data for reports. Monitor project timelines, document submissions, and maintain audit files. Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks. Resolve issues to prevent or minimize negative impacts on project success. Ensure program compliance by designing and implementing procedures to meet project objectives and criteria, and collaborate with agencies to address concerns. Prepare monthly variance reports with explanatory footnotes. Evaluate and oversee program performance to ensure successful implementation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, or Master’s degree with no experience, or Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience, or High School diploma/equivalent with 6 years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in project management or program coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software.
  • Skilled in project planning, resource allocation, and tracking performance.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of program compliance requirements and experience implementing procedures to meet objectives.
  • Experienced in monitoring project timelines, managing documentation, and maintaining audit files.
  • Capable of preparing variance reports with explanatory notes and evaluating program performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is a plus.
  • Project management experience supporting federal, state, or local government customers.
  • Prior experience working within a government contracting environment, including familiarity with compliance, regulatory requirements, and structured program delivery.
