This temporary assignment is centered on providing temporary surge support for activities related to divested business. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams, help with complex problem solving, and support comprehensive analysis. Your responsibilities will include providing support for contract close-out activities and providing routine support for some active contracts.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.".
  • Defense Industry experience and knowledge of government contracting
  • Financial acumen and creating working relationships cross-functionally
  • Experience working with business systems and tools such as SAP and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Has a practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Responsibilities

  • Support contracts close out tasks including reconciliations, research into costs, and analysis of financial impacts
  • Interface with the Contracts Operations team, the Billings team, Program Management, and other functions to support efficient contract execution and close-out activities
  • Provide monthly ATSP Actuals. This includes verifying and analyzing funding, budget and commitments with minimal oversight.
  • Provide routine program financial support to active contracts such as completing EACs, Forecasting, Planning, and monthly reporting
  • Support ad hoc requirements from Internal and External customers
