Requirements

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
  • Three years direct patient care experience.
  • One year of management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the efficient oversight of rehabilitation services in assigned account(s).
  • Assisting in ensuring coordination of services are successful and customer relations are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Monitoring the delivery and maintenance of the highest standard of rehabilitation services.
  • Providing direct patient care.
  • Assisting therapy staff in effective and efficient delivery of rehab services.
  • Providing routine customer relations touch points to ensure customer satisfaction and continued referral flow.
  • Making referrals to other disciplines and/or agencies to address comprehensive patient needs.
  • Supporting the delivery of the highest standard of rehabilitation services through appropriate resource utilization.
  • Coordinating Powerback Rehabilitation personnel and consultants within facility or home care contracts.
  • Monitoring evidence-based care and adherence to care delivery standards.
  • Ensuring clinical management of the rehabilitation department is overseen by a licensed therapist.
  • Assisting therapy staff in identifying and removing barriers to treatment.
  • Coordinating daily staffing and utilization with input from treating therapists.
  • Monitoring financial controls of revenue and expenses.
  • Assisting in meeting annual budget goals.
  • Assisting with clinical orientation and ensuring quality orientation for new rehab staff.
  • Promoting all Powerback Rehabilitation products and services.
  • Maintaining relationships and identifying new contracts.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with facility management teams and staff.
  • Performing other related duties as required.
